Carbon Black Supply and Logistics

In this market, one of a buyer's first three questions is always the same: How quickly, and on what terms, do you deliver? This page answers that question up front.

The supply chain

The product is manufactured at a production facility certified to ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001, analyzed in an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory, and shipped with the certificate of analysis for its batch. Import, customs clearance and domestic distribution are handled by MB Global Kimya.

Delivery terms (Incoterms)

We offer different delivery terms to suit the way you work:

• EXW: The product is delivered at the warehouse; freight and insurance are for the buyer.
• FOB: Delivered on board the vessel at the port of loading.
• CFR: Freight to the port of destination is on us.
• CIF: Freight and insurance are on us.
• DAP / DDP: The product is delivered to the address you specify; under DDP, customs duties are included.

We decide together at the quotation stage which terms work best for you. Our experience shows that for manufacturers without their own import department, DAP or DDP usually lowers the total cost.

Loading capacities

With jumbo bags, a 20' container takes 10,000 kg, a 40' container 20,000 kg and a truck 22,000 kg. With kraft paper bags, these figures range by grade from 8,800 to 11,000 kg (20' FCL), from 17,600 to 22,000 kg (40' FCL) and from 19,800 to 22,000 kg (truck).

Lead time

Orders filled from stock are usually delivered within a few business days. For orders that require import, the lead time depends on the production and shipping schedule and is confirmed at the quotation stage.

Stock and planning

With customers we work with regularly, we set up a shipping schedule based on estimated annual consumption. This benefits both sides: your line does not stop, and our supply planning becomes predictable.

In return for an annual volume commitment, we can offer contracts that include price protection and stock priority.

Documents

Documents sent with every shipment: certificate of analysis (CoA), safety data sheet (SDS), certificate of origin, invoice and packing list. If you need an additional document, simply state it at the order stage.
