N299 carbon black offers very high abrasion resistance and excellent reinforcement. A versatile grade used in rubber as well as in the ink, paint and printing industries.
N299 carbon black is one of the two products introduced in the catalog as a "new grade". With an iodine adsorption of 108 g/kg and an oil absorption of 124 ml/100 g, it sits between N220 and N339 and combines some of the advantages of both.
Its high tint strength (113 ± 5) and good dispersion behavior make N299 suitable not only for rubber but also for pigment applications. In the ink and paint industry, where color strength and ease of dispersion are needed together, this grade stands out.
Truck and radial tires, industrial rubber hoses, sealing products, rubber rollers, conveyor belts and belting, wire and cable, shoe soles; as well as the ink, coating, paint and printing industries.

Because of its high tint strength (113 ± 5) and good dispersion behavior. In rubber it provides strong reinforcement; in ink and paint it combines color strength with ease of dispersion.
With an iodine adsorption of 108 g/kg and an oil absorption of 124 ml/100 g, it sits right in the middle: it approaches the abrasion resistance of N220 while keeping the processing advantage of N339.
N299 is supplied in 1,000 kg double-valve PP-PE jumbo bags. A 20' container takes 10 pallets (10,000 kg), a 40' container 20 pallets (20,000 kg) and a truck 22 pallets (22,000 kg). If you need kraft paper bags, send us your request and we will check availability.
