Quality Policy

In the industrial raw materials trade, the phrase "quality product" means nothing on its own. Quality becomes meaningful when it can be defined, measured and documented. Our quality policy is built on these three words.

1. It must be definable

We know which standard defines every product we sell. Carbon black grades are classified under ASTM D1765, and every parameter has its own ASTM test method. For PE wax types, drop point, viscosity, penetration and acid value are measured with the relevant ASTM methods.

Thanks to these standards, instead of saying "our product is good", we can say "the iodine adsorption number of this grade is 82 ± 5 g/kg according to ASTM D1510". That is the difference.

2. It must be measurable

The analysis laboratory of the facility that produces the carbon black we supply is accredited to ISO/IEC 17025. This means that not only the laboratory's equipment but also its measurement methods, staff competence and reporting of results are audited by an independent body.

The result: every shipment is accompanied by a certificate of analysis (CoA) for that batch. The certificate is not a formality; it is proof of what the product is.

3. It must be documented

The production facility holds ISO 9001 (quality management), ISO 14001 (environmental management) and ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety) certificates. These certificates show that product quality rests not on a single batch but on a systematic process.

Our side of the responsibility

The manufacturer's quality infrastructure is necessary but not sufficient. Our responsibilities are:

• Recommending the right grade. Using a quality product in the wrong application gives the same result as using a poor product.
• Maintaining storage conditions. Carbon black that has picked up moisture no longer matches the values on its certificate of analysis.
• Sending complete documents. The certificate of analysis, safety data sheet and certificate of origin travel with the shipment.
• Responding quickly when something goes wrong. If a batch does not deliver the expected performance, we measure first and talk second.
