FIG. 01 · N774 · Iodine adsorption number 29 g/kg

N774 carbon black is a semi-reinforcing grade in the same ASTM class as N772 and behaves very similarly to it. Its balanced structure lets it keep its processability even at high filler loadings.

Where it is preferred

It is the classic choice of manufacturers looking for a cost-performance balance in shoe soles, rubber belts, hoses and general-purpose molded parts. Its high loading capacity makes it possible to lower formulation cost by increasing filler and oil levels.

Applications

Extruded parts, rubber belts and hoses, molded components, footwear and similar products.

How does it work?

Frequently Asked Questions About This Product

What is the difference between N774 and N772?

Both are semi-reinforcing grades in the same ASTM class, and they behave very similarly. N774 keeps its processability at high filler loadings thanks to its balanced structure.

Why do the N774 technical values look limited?

N774 is not included in the manufacturer's specification table. The values on this page are reference values from the ASTM D1765 standard, and this is clearly stated. Request a certificate of analysis for exact batch values.

What packaging is N774 available in?

N774 is supplied in 1,000 kg double-valve PP-PE jumbo bags. A 20' container takes 10 pallets (10,000 kg), a 40' container 20 pallets (20,000 kg) and a truck 22 pallets (22,000 kg). If you need kraft paper bags, send us your request and we will check availability.

Does N774 come with a certificate of analysis and a safety data sheet?

Yes. Every shipment is sent with a certificate of analysis (CoA) for that batch, issued by an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory. We send the safety data sheet (SDS) on request; if you would like to see a sample report before ordering, you can ask for one through the quote form.
