Tires
Choosing carbon black for tires means choosing a structural component, not a filler. Tread…
N234 carbon black combines high structure and high modulus. It delivers superior abrasion resistance and durability in radial tire treads and reinforced rubber products.
N234 carbon black is the classic choice for high-performance radial tire treads. With an iodine adsorption of 120 g/kg and an oil absorption of 125 ml/100 g, it offers the advantages of both small particle size and high structure.
High surface area means high reinforcement, but it also means higher hysteresis loss and therefore more heat build-up. In applications that run continuously at high speed, this heat must be managed. Compound viscosity also rises, so the mixing protocol should be adjusted accordingly.

Carbon black for rubber products beyond tires: conveyor belts, hoses, seals, diaphragms…
Test the product and return it if you are not satisfied. No obligation.
It is the classic choice for high-performance radial tire treads. It is also used in conveyor belt compounds and in reinforced rubber products that require high abrasion resistance.
The combination of high surface area (NSA 119 m²/g) and high structure (OAN 125 ml/100 g) raises compound viscosity and increases heat build-up. Adjust the mixing protocol accordingly, and plan heat management for applications that run continuously at high speed.
We offer two options: a 1,000 kg double-valve PP-PE jumbo bag and a 20 kg two-ply kraft paper-PE bag. A pallet of bags holds 1,100 kg of product; a 20' container takes 8,800 kg and a truck 19,800 kg. With jumbo bags, these figures are 10,000 kg and 22,000 kg respectively.
