N330 carbon black is the most widely used general-purpose grade in the industry. It combines good abrasion resistance, easy processing and high tensile strength at a balanced cost.
N330 carbon black is the reference point of the carbon black world. When a formulation is designed, work often starts with N330 and then moves to a harder or softer grade as needed. The reason for this popularity is balance: with an iodine adsorption of 82 g/kg and an oil absorption of 102 ml/100 g, it is neither too hard nor too soft.
It is used in tread and body compounds for passenger car and truck tires, in conveyor belts, in hoses and in general-purpose mechanical rubber goods. It is also chosen for coloring and UV protection in polymer and plastic compounds.
If you need higher abrasion resistance, consider N339 or N234; for lower heat build-up and easier extrusion, N375; if cost is your priority and the reinforcement requirement is low, N550.

Yes, but N339 has a markedly higher structure (OAN 120 ml/100 g versus 102 for N330). This means higher modulus and better abrasion resistance; in return, compound viscosity increases. Small adjustments to oil and accelerator levels may be needed.
We offer two options: a 1,000 kg double-valve PP-PE jumbo bag and a 22 kg two-ply kraft paper-PE bag. A pallet of bags holds 1,210 kg of product; a 20' container takes 9,680 kg and a truck 21,780 kg. With jumbo bags, these figures are 10,000 kg and 22,000 kg respectively.
