Tires
Choosing carbon black for tires means choosing a structural component, not a filler. Tread…
N339 carbon black is a high-structure, high-modulus hard grade. It offers excellent abrasion resistance, improved extrusion behavior and better hysteresis characteristics.
N339 carbon black belongs to the same particle size class as N330 but has a markedly higher structure (OAN 120 ml/100 g versus 102 for N330). In the compound, this difference shows up as higher modulus, better dispersion and smoother extrusion.
The aggregates of a high-structure carbon black are more branched and occupy a larger volume within the rubber. At the same loading, this means a stiffer compound. The compound also collapses less during processing and swells less on extrusion.
For higher abrasion resistance, consider N234; for lower structure and higher oil loading capacity, N375.

Carbon black for rubber products beyond tires: conveyor belts, hoses, seals, diaphragms…
Test the product and return it if you are not satisfied. No obligation.
Both are in the same particle size class (26–30 nm), but N339 has a higher structure: OAN 120 ml/100 g versus 102 for N330. This gives N339 higher modulus, better extrusion behavior and higher abrasion resistance.
Mainly in passenger car tire treads and subtread layers. It is also chosen for conveyor belt cover compounds and for mechanical rubber goods where high performance is expected.
We offer two options: a 1,000 kg double-valve PP-PE jumbo bag and a 21 kg two-ply kraft paper-PE bag. A pallet of bags holds 1,155 kg of product; a 20' container takes 9,240 kg and a truck 20,790 kg. With jumbo bags, these figures are 10,000 kg and 22,000 kg respectively.
